Established in 2024, Freedom Golf was founded by Nafe & Alex Latu alongside Austin & Kayleigh Freeman, two entrepreneurial couples who share a deep passion for golf, community, and meaningful connection.
With over eight years of experience in event creation, brand partnerships, and lifestyle experiences, the team recognized an opportunity to reimagine what golf could represent - not just a sport, but a platform for connection, collaboration, and transformation.
What began as a shared vision has evolved into one of the fastest-growing golf and business communities in the country. Freedom Golf unites entrepreneurs, business leaders, professional athletes, influencers, and creators who believe in doing life and business differently through authenticity, purpose, and shared experiences.

As a connector, builder, and visionary, Nafe Latu leads Freedom Golf with a commitment to excellence, community, and impact. With over eight years in the event space, he has mastered the art of curating experiences that bring the right people into the right rooms—creating opportunity, collaboration, and growth.
Known for his strategic vision and hands-on leadership, Nafe ensures every Freedom Golf event delivers world-class execution and unforgettable value. He is dedicated to building a community where golf becomes a catalyst for meaningful relationships, big ideas, and lasting impact.
AUSTIN FREEMAN, CCO

Austin brings unapologetic creativity and blue collar grit to his role as Chief Creative Officer at Freedom Golf. An entrepreneur since 22, he’s spent his career proving you can build like a contractor and create like an artist holding high-level leadership roles while never losing his love for sport, style, and originality.
Coming up in the construction industry and eventually serving as Chief Operating Officer for a roofing company, Austin learned how to lead teams, own outcomes, and build things that last. That same mindset now drives his work at Freedom Golf, where he brings clear standards, no shortcuts, and an unapologetic creativity to the game, pushing the brand and culture forward with every move.
ALEX Latu, COO

As the operational backbone of Freedom Golf, Alex brings structure, clarity, and leadership to every part of the organization. With years of experience in management, sales, and systems building—including serving as a Director of Operations in the solar industry—she ensures that every event, retreat, and initiative runs with precision and excellence.
Known for her calm presence, problem-solving mindset, and strong leadership background, Alex keeps the team aligned, supports high-level execution, and turns big visions into organized, actionable plans. As a dedicated mother of three, she brings both compassion and discipline to her role, helping Freedom create meaningful experiences that flow seamlessly from start to finish.
Kayleigh Freeman, CxO

As the Chief Experience Officer and a proud founder of Freedom Golf, Kayleigh is deeply committed to creating meaningful, memorable experiences for every guest who walks through the door. Her passion for hospitality, connection, and elevated service drives the heart of Freedom’s mission.
Beyond her work at Freedom Golf, Kayleigh is a dedicated mom to two little girls and an experienced competitive volleyball coach. Her background in leadership, team building, and athlete development has shaped her approach to designing smooth, thoughtful, people-first experiences throughout Freedom Golf.
Travis McCabe
Director of partnerships
Travis serves as the Director of Partnership Development at Freedom Golf, bringing a disciplined, strategic approach to building meaningful brand relationships and driving long-term growth. An engineer and former United States Marine, he operates with precision, resilience, and a results-driven mindset shaped by years of leadership in high-pressure environments.
With over 10 years of experience in team leadership and partnership acquisitions, Travis specializes in identifying opportunities that align with Freedom Golf’s mission while strengthening its presence and influence within the golf industry. A dedicated golf fanatic, he plays a key role in expanding the brand’s network, ensuring every partnership reflects the values of integrity, performance, and excellence.
